Visiting the Racecourse

STōK Cae Ras, the Racecourse Ground, is on Mold Road with Wrexham General station next door. It is the oldest international football ground in the world still in use, and right now one end is a building site: the Kop is being rebuilt.

Getting there

Come by train if you can. Wrexham General is next to the ground, a couple of minutes' walk. On a matchday the station gets a lot busier than usual, so build in time on the way home.

The Kop rebuild

The old Kop is gone and a new stand is going up in its place, which is why the ground is running below its usual capacity. Until it opens, tickets are scarcer than ever, so read the tickets guide before you set out.

Before you go

The club keeps its own first-time fan guide (turnstiles, bag policy, accessibility) and a page on the ground itself. Away fans get a guide for each fixture in the club's ticket news. Those change from game to game, so we link to them rather than copy them.

The Turf, the pub built into the corner of the ground, is the one everyone has heard of. Expect it to be full.

Want the shirt? The club shop is at shop.wrexhamafc.co.uk.
