Sheffield United v Wrexham tonight at Bramall Lane
Kick-off is 8pm UK time, and a win would be Wrexham's fourth of the season.
The short version
Wrexham play Sheffield United in the EFL Championship at Bramall Lane tonight, Friday 30 October, with an 8pm UK kick-off. Previews describe the game as part of a new rivalry built around several sub-plots. Wrexham are 17th of 24 with 14 points from 12 games.
The rivalry is new, and the coverage so far is built around the sub-plots that come with it. Both previews of tonight's game at Bramall Lane frame it that way, though the detail behind those sub-plots is thin so far.
Wrexham come into it 17th of 24 in the Championship, with 14 points from 12 games. They have won three, drawn five and lost four, and their goal difference is minus three, so they have conceded more than they have scored. A win would be their fourth of the campaign, and that is the number that matters most at this stage of the season.
Kick-off is at 8pm UK time, and the sub-plots will only matter if they show on the pitch.
